Refund, Warranties and Policies

DIY Homes; Tiny homes satisfaction guarantee

At DIY Homes, we are customers too.  In the rare event that there is a quality issue, we will work hard to come to a reasonable and fair solution.  That's because today you may be our customer. However, tomorrow we may be yours.  We will always treat our customers the way we would like to be treated. (see below)

Warranty and Satisfaction Guarantee 

Satisfaction Guarantee: We provide a 3-year warranty on defective parts.  Parts and shipping only.  1-year warranty on appliances, air conditioners, or other electrical equipment.  Parts and shipping only. (Does not cover professional installation)

Damaged Items: Damage or defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery (structural, walls, windows, and doors). You must video record the unpacking from the container and the opening of the house.  If significant damage occurred during delivery, we would assess on a case-by-case basis.  This may qualify for a partial or full refund, or complete rebuild depending on damage and ability to fix.

Lost or non-delivery:  In the rare event of loss or non-delivery of the house, will be investigated and handled on a case-by-case basis.  We will primarily handle this with a complete rebuild.  However, in some circumstances we will refund in full.  Case-by-case basis.

Returns, Cancellations and Deposits Policies 

Return and Cancellation

Returns: Due to the custom build of each project, we cannot accept returns.  We will work to resolve any quality issues with the house itself upon delivery.

Cancellations: We understand that life happens and there may be circumstances where you may need to cancel.  We have a 48-hour cancellation window from the time the order has been funded.   

​

Deposits: 30% for the start of construction.  Deposits are non-refundable after the 48-hour cancellation period.  The balance is due in full prior to shipping of final product.
